KAPS-ALL SAFETY UPDATES Over the past 70+ years Kaps-All Packaging Systems, Inc. has been manufacturing many types of bottling machines. It has always been our objective to make the best quality machines with the best safety standards available at this time. During the course of these 70 years improved materials and safety features, warning and safety stickers have become available. With this in mind, we wish to make anyone who has an older model Kaps-All machine aware that all the upgrades that have been made over the years are in fact retrofitable on the older machines. If you have any one of our machines of an older vintage that does not have the newer safety guarding, interlocking switches and safety stickers please notify us. Our staff will be happy to work with you by providing you with recommendations and information on updating your equipment. Commonly, safety stickers are sometimes painted over, wear off or due to chemical reactions have become illegible. Keep in mind that replacement safety stickers are always available at no cost to our customer’s. These stickers can be sent to you at no charge when requested in writing. Please provide the model and serial number of your machine so we can provide the appropriate stickers and the appropriate quantity. In addition, Kapsall Packaging Systems Inc. has supplied thousands of machines all over the world to the bottling industry. With this in mind, it is now more common that machines are changing hands from owner to owner and also being modified by end users. For this reason, it is imperative that if you have purchased a used machine with the Kaps-All name on it; we strongly recommend you contact us prior to purchasing. If you provide photos, the model and serial number of the machine we will be happy to provide you a cost free analysis of the machine condition and safety based on your photos. We will provide you with information on the age of the machine, changes that have been made to the machine, if the machine is complete based on the photos if the safety feature are still intact etc. This information will assist you in making a wise purchase. We do not want you to purchase any machine that has been changed in such a way that it are now dangerous to operate or no longer functioning for the purpose it was originally intended. We can help you avoid excess expenses for the purchase of a used machine that needs a significant amount of repair or replacement parts to make it function properly and safely. Also at this time we can also confirm that your particular new project will work on this older machine. In conclusion, please be aware that we are here as a service oriented company. Kaps-All’s highly skilled personnel are ready to provide you with the best assistance possible in handling your bottling machinery needs. Many times new machinery is very cost effective when compared to used machine prices. We have commonly seen used machines sell at auction for more than new machines. With this in mind, we want you to avoid all the traps that you can fall into when purchasing used machinery. We also want to make sure that you are purchasing safe equipment. You should be aware that the used machines that you either have or are contemplating purchasing can be easily brought up to date to the current safety standards.
